Full Service Design
Every project begins with a consultation. Design consultations are ideal for any homeowner; whether you're looking for a jump start to a DIY project or you need full service design from inspiration to installation. The consultation allows us to go a little deeper into your likes, dislikes, how you plan to utilize the space and the overall mood you aspire to achieve.
Design consultations provide value to the client, saves them money and helps to avoid frustration. The in home consultation lasts for up to 2 hours and includes some of the following:
Tour of your home to determine decor challenges and solutions.
Getting to know your needs through Q&A.
Defining the budget.
Paint color selections.
How it Works:
Client fills out contact form.
Phone chit chat session to discuss project needs.
In home consultation is paid.
Consultation appointment is used to tour the home, determine decor challenges and solutions.
Based on the consultation, a design fee proposal is developed. This proposal is provided in 3-5 business days and outlines the scope of work, our design intent/goals, our estimated design fee, and the non-refundable advance on our design fee to get started.
Once the design fee proposal is approved, an initial advance on our design fee is required and signals the start of the project.
A day is scheduled where I come and take measurements and photos.
The next steps are broken down into 2 components. The 1st is space planning. I design 2 floor plan options (depending on the space) that support your functional needs. These options are presented in the client’s home; where we discuss the final layout that will best meet your lifestyle.
From there, I work to put together a custom style & furnishing plan. This plan will include all renderings, materials, furniture, fabric, and color selections. It will also include a budget breakdown of the furnishings.
A presentation of this plan is given in the client's home. This presentation is 1-2 hours; it includes one revision that must be requested at this meeting.
After final approval of the presentation, it is required that you sign the furnishing proposal and pay the deposit required to begin the purchasing phase of your project. The remaining balance on the design fee is also required at this time.
Design fees are based on the scope of work.
The full service process is spelled out here in my 3 phase approach.
Who's it For:
This service is best suited for clients that lack the time and interest to do the work themselves; you prefer a turn key experience by having a design professional do all the heavy lifting.
