Full Service Design

Every project begins with a consultation. Design consultations are ideal for any homeowner; whether you're looking for a jump start to a DIY project or you need full service design from inspiration to installation. The consultation allows us to go a little deeper into your likes, dislikes, how you plan to utilize the space and the overall mood you aspire to achieve.

Design consultations provide value to the client, saves them money and helps to avoid frustration. The in home consultation lasts for up to 2 hours and includes some of the following:

Tour of your home to determine decor challenges and solutions.

  • Getting to know your needs through Q&A.

  • Defining the budget.

  • Recommended furniture layout.

  • Styling tips.

  • Paint color selections.

How it Works:

  • In home consultation is paid ($350; paid separately at time of booking).

  • Client fills out design questionnaire prior to consultation.

  • Consultation appointment is used to tour the home, determine decor challenges and solutions.

  • We will also go over the design process and the terms of our Letter of Agreement.

  • Based on the consultation, a design fee proposal is developed. This proposal is provided in 3-5 business days and outlines the scope of work, our design intent/goals, our estimated design fee, and the non-refundable advance on our design fee to get started.

  • Once the design fee proposal is approved, an initial advance on our design fee is required and signals the start of the project.

  • A day is scheduled where I come and take measurements and photos.

  • From there, I work to put together a custom design plan and presentation. This plan will include all renderings, materials, furniture, fabric, and color selections. It will also include a budget breakdown of the project.

  • A design presentation of this plan is given in the client's home. This presentation is 1-2 hours; it includes one revision that must be requested at this meeting.

After final approval of the presentation, we require that you sign the letter of agreement and pay the furnishings deposit required to begin the purchasing phase of your project. The remaining balance on the design fee is also required at this time.

Design fees are based on the scope of work and takes you through the point of presentation. Once the presentation is approved, the procurement and installation phase begins. This phase of the project is billed hourly.

The full service process is spelled out here in my 3 phase approach.

Who's it For:

This service is best suited for clients that lack the time and interest to do the work themselves; you prefer a turn key experience by having a design professional do all the heavy lifting.
